Canadian Celtic Folk Concert ‘Maggies Wake’

July 17 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Maggie’s Wake is an award-winning Canadian “new trad” folk group, who have created an exciting splash in the folk music scene, blending high twang, classic country with contemporary takes on celtic jigs and reels, cajun twin fiddles and regge rhythms. Their music is an original, genre-hopping adventure that has captured the hearts of audiences cross Canada and the United States. The band features award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tara Dunphy, and award-winning violinist/fiddler, songwriter & composer, Lindsay Schindler. Andrew Kosty is on bass and Kenneth Palmer on guitar. The group plays at Essex Theatre at the the Masonic Lodge on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
