Plein Air Workshop with Jim Daly

July 18, 2014 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Two Day Workshop
| $200

Jim Daly will to teach a 2-day plein air workshop on the weekend of July 18-19th. Jim is an accomplished plein air painter who participates in many festivals around the US. The workshop will be two days of serious painting and instruction, beginning at 8am with coffee at the Gallery, followed by a demo by Mr. Daly, then out to paint till noon. We will break for lunch for an hour, watch a second demo, and resume painting till 4pm. The cost for the workshop is $200.

If we have rain we will set up inside the gallery with a projector till it stops. This is a very good opportunity for anyone who has wanted to learn plein air techniques to learn from a very capable teacher.

We need at least 10 committed participants, we have 5 already! Please email Janice Koenig ( or call 518-963-8309 to register. Or stop by the AAA gallery between 11-5 any day to sign up. We will have fun and we will get an education as well! Please act quickly as this is rather short notice!
