On August 17th the Ricochet Duo—Jane Boxall, marimba and Rose Chancler, piano—will perform a very special multimedia concert at The Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA) honoring the late Adirondack conservationist and Woodswoman author Anne LaBastille. This unique concert will begin at 7:30 pm and include the world premieres of three new works for piano and marimba by composers Hilary Tann, Doug Opel, and William Pfaff.

Additionally there will be stunning photography from world-class photographers Carl Hielman II, Mark Bowie, Shaun Hefferman, and Larry Barns paired with specific program works, and also a slideshow of original pictures directly from Anne LaBastille’s estate.
