Lyceum: Abundance and Scarcity: The Tangled Web of Food Systems

March 9, 2021 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Abundance and Scarcity:
The Tangled Web of Food Systems

Food systems can have a negative or positive impact on the environment, our bodies, our communities and the other sentient creatures we share our earth with. On one hand, food systems should ensure food security and improved nutrition, and they can achieve other social, economic or environmental goals. But there is also the harsh reality of food scarcity and insecurity in our communities. As food consumers, we each have an opportunity to impact our food system. During this talk you will get to know our Adirondack food system and your role in it.
