Grange Lyceum: "1915: The Year the Grange Was Built"

The spring lyceum series at the Whallonsburg Grange begins with two history lectures by UVM professor Andy Buchanan. Attendance $5 per lecture; students attend free.

Mr. Buchanan will present his second lecture “1915: The Year the Grange Was Built” on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30PM. As the Whallonsburg Grange rose up from the ground, the people of the Champlain Valley would have been thinking and reading about a wide variety of global issues, including the opening guns of World War I, women’s suffrage, and the automotive revolution.
