Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm offers birth –2nd grade education based on the Waldorf philosophy on a working farm in Essex, NY.

Ever wonder what happens inside the classroom of Lakeside School At Black Kettle Farm? Well come and see for yourself. We will spend time in the morning visiting the Main Lesson of the Elementary school (1st & 2nd Grade), the Kindergarten (age 3-6) and joining the Sprouts (age 1-3) outside. There will be time to speak with the teachers and ask any questions you might have about any of the programs.

Curriculum day will take place Tuesday, November 19th from 8:45- 11:00am. Sign up in advance with Kathleen Morse by calling 963-7385 or e-mailing This is an open community event so spread the word to anyone you might know who is interested in the programs.

Can’t make this day? Mark your calendar for Community Observation Days – Thursday, February 27th & Wednesday, April 30th.
