Crux Lecture: “Climbing Ice, Climbing the World”

Just wanted to let you all in on two quickly approaching events that The Crux will be hosting!
The first event is 7pm-9pm on Tuesday, February 4th, a lecture entitled “Climbing Ice, Climbing the World”. The lecture will be given by Don Mellor and Mark Scott at The Crux on 56 Rogers Lane!! Entry is free, but a suggested donation of $5 per person is appreciated.
The second event is 8am-1pm on Saturday, February 8th: an ice-climbing day trip in the Adirondack Park, led by AMGA certified guide Mark Scott. The all-inclusive cost for this trip is just $25! This event is limited to the first 12 people to sign up and spots are filling FAST!!! Your $25 gets you gear, hot chocolate, transportation from Pok-O-MacCready and instruction!!!! No experience is necessary.
Because spots are limited for the ice trip, to secure a spot in the dozen we are asking for a down payment of $10.
