|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on September 16, 2018 at 3:00pm

To get things rolling in the 11th season of Piano by Nature we have invited back the incredible pianist Marvin Rosen for a set of concerts focusing on contemporary miniatures by women composers.

Marvin is an accomplished American pianist, music educator, musicologist, and host of the weekly radio program Classical Discoveries, which airs on WPRB 103.3 FM in Princeton, New Jersey. He is best known for his work in promoting the music of living composers as well as the music of Alan Hovhaness. Marvin has so much to tell us that he brought enough to fill two different concerts. The concerts will take place at the Historic Hand House in Elizabethtown, NY on Saturday, September 15th at 7PM and Sunday, September 16th at 3PM.

We ask a $15 donation for all adult tickets and $5 for children under the age of 15. We will take reservations by phone at 518.962.8899 and email at rchancler99@gmail.com. The room seats 50, so please make your reservations to ensure seating. And if you would like to give a bit extra towards our future concert seasons please let us know. If you would like to purchase tickets as a gift family or friends, also let us know. For more information visit www.pianobynature.org, our Piano by Nature Facebook page, and/or call 518.962.8899.
