Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Champlain Valley
Led by: Dr. Michael Burgess
Donation: $15 per adult/$10 per child

June 27, 2015 – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. – This hike will introduce participants to the wild edible and medicinal plants found throughout the Champlain Valley. Topics will include developing plant identification skills, as well as sustainable harvesting and preparation techniques. Michael B. Burgess is a faculty member in the Biological Sciences Department at SUNY Plattsburgh where he teaches Botany and general Biology courses.
