DESCRIPTION:Elizabethtown Social Center Juneteenth Celebration  \nMany Faces of Freedom: A Juneteenth Look at Revolutionary America \nA panel discussion and community conversation hosted by the Elizabethtown Social Center in partnership with the North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association. \nJoin us for an engaging evening of reflection\, storytelling\, and community dialogue as we explore the meaning of freedom — from the American Revolution to the present day. Community panelists will share perspectives on how the ideals of the Declaration of Independence both challenged and inspired the ongoing struggle for liberty and equality in America. \nTogether\, we will also explore the North Country’s connection to these larger national stories and invite audience members to take part in an open and welcoming conversation about freedom\, history\, and community today. \nWhether you come to listen\, share\, learn\, or reflect\, all are welcome to be part of this meaningful discussion. \nPanelists include: \nJacqueline Madison\, North Star Underground Railroad Historical Association \nPeter Slocum\, Adirondack History Museum \nModerated by Laurie House\, Elizabethtown Social Center  \nWednesday\, June 176:30pm \nChildren Welcome!
