Cabin Fever College: Lecture & Discussion 1

January 13, 2015 @ 7:00 pm

Participants will gather at the Essex Library on Tuesday evenings for six weeks to view and discuss a series of taped lectures by Harvard professor Michael Sandel. With his entertaining and accessible lecture style, Sandel encourages his students to think critically about the fundamental questions of justice, equality, democracy, and citizenship, and after viewing the lectures, participants will be invited to share their own perspective on these important topics.

Cabin Fever College will be held on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. from January 13 through February 17. No prior knowledge of ethics or philosophy is necessary to enjoy the lectures or to participate in the discussions. To register or to receive more information, please contact library board vice president Maureen DeLaughter at 935-3811 or delaughterk[@]gmail[dot]com.
