Boquet River Theatre Festival: Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr

Boquet River Theatre Festival (BRTF) is proud to announce its 2015 season, which includes a Junior and a Senior Production!

The Junior production is Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr which will be performed on August 14 and 15 at 7:00 pm, and August 16 at 2:00 pm, all at the Whallonsburgh Grange. The show is comprised of 22 actors ages 8 through 12. The actors are kids who are all residents of the North Country, including some summer residents, and they range from first time actors, to actors who have been in BRTF for as many as six seasons! The Little Mermaid is the iconic story of a mermaid princess who longs to live above the ocean’s surface, and includes the famous characters Ariel, Sebastian the crab, Prince Eric, and the evil Ursula. The musical includes the famous songs “Under the Sea,” “Part of his World,” and “Poor Unfortunate Souls.”
